Practical Shed Floor Suggestions

Years ago I purchased a vinyl 14x10 shed and had an idea from a magazine to build a paver floor surrounded by 6x6s. In theory it was a success except for....

The vinyl shed was < 14x10 by an inch all around This meant that the rain would run down the side of the wall and hit the timber and some moisture would get in. The bottom of the vinyl shed was a c-channel which could also probably capture moisture. End result... this shed was damp... almost all the time.

I am considering moving the shed to an elevated plywood shed floor right next to the old floor and using that for storage that will be exposed to the elements.

This back part of my yard is shady and can be wet during heavy rain. I would like to have something that doesn't retain moisture nearly as much.
