Paint Home Decorating Design Dilemma

Help with a Paint color!

We are getting ready to down size and put our home on the market. the trim in our bedroom is an antique white and I have painted the walls a tobacco road which I was happy with. i need to repaint but dont want to do the trim, can i just paint the walls antique white? or can someone recommend a light color that would work?

Antique white will be fine. Wash the trim since you are not repainting it.

Unless the paint is in bad shape or the walls need some kind of repair, I don't see a need to re-paint for sale purposes. The room looks nice as is. I know there are some crazy wall colors that can turn off potential buyers who are unable to visualize a change, but I definitely don't think this room is one of those. But, to answer your question, I think antique white would be fine with the existing trim.
