Bedroom furniture layout

Good Morning Design Friends, HELP... i need to finish this room. Other than a few paint touch up due to bad taping.... I am ready to decorate this Master Bedroom. I cant even figure out where to put the bed Or where to put the fire place. We would like to add either a couch or a couple chaises for reading and/or watching tv. The Tv is on a swivel and can be seen from anywhere. Tv Stand and night stands will be replaced with hopefully some 3 drawer nightstands. I need drawers!! I’ve been looking for one to go under the tv but they are always too wide. As you can see there are a few challenges with one wall where one window is much longer than the other window and i’m Not sure how to deal with that. Should curtains go to the ceiling height or window casing?I’m not opposed to putting the bed under the skylight if thats the best place for it.... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I think I'd like the bed under the skylight. Get a headboard tall enough to cover the door behind it. Night tables should arrive at mattress height, fyi. Gather swivel chairs at the fireplace.

Can you provide the room dimensions and also a line drawing of the shape. And is one of the doors to a bathroom? Also, does that "fireplace" actually produce heat or is it just for looks. I think you should consider if you really need that in the space. That wall is best suited for a large dresser so you can get the drawers you need. I would you roman shades in this room and avoid curtains altogether. there is a few challenges there.

I would put the tv on the sloped wall, then put the "fireplace under the tv, use the space where the bed was for the 2 chairs and the space where the fireplace is now for a large dresser. At the foot of the bed put a trunk or bench that opens, for added storage. The tv was really hung too high fyi.

RL Location... I’m not sure where you are suggesting the bed should go? The fireplace does give off some heat which is why my fiancé purchased it. Oil is very expensive and it seems to help some. The tv height... yeah my doing.... we’ve been thinking we should lower it. What about the different height windows on the dark gray wall? Any way to camoflauge that. The windows are good and we didnt want to get into replacing them. We don’t necessarily need the drawers. Door in the middle of the wall leads to the renovated bathroom and walk in closet. Door to right of the tv is an additional closet and 3rd door between bathroom and tv wall leads to the hallway and directly across from the stairway.

Bed sits up high.... the marks on the door were from when we had the bed there. The bed goes up and down head and foot and we were hitting the wall..... i will post the dimensions. And picture as soon as i get home.

Hey, nice room. You can try to put the bed under the skylight and place the nightstands that you want, one on each side. I think it will be great and look good. Concerning the fire place, leave it where it is. It gives a very cozy ambiance with those two windows. And finally, you could try to place the TV above the fireplace, and a comfy sofa in front (under the current tv)

Would the bed fit on the wall with the 2 different sized windows? If so, maybe do curtains as a “headboard”.

Imagine your bed on the window wall in this pictpure.
