Black appliances

So we moved and this is our new kitchen. it has so kind of charm that is telling me to not do any updates, but somes of the appliances are shut and will need to be replaced. Thinking about doing all black appliances. What is you opinion?

Depends on the natural light in the room. In my experience, a black fridge sucks all the light from the space. The stainless fridge in the photo is reflecting lots of light. What kind of space do you want?

In my experience, a black fridge recedes into the background and does not stand out like a shiny piece of stainless steel.

Black could work nicely with your black countertops. A black fridge is a lot of black. I’d get a counter depth unit to help it fit in and disappear as much as possible.

I would not do black appliances in that kitchen. As mentioned it sucks the light out of the room. Also, the finishes that are "black stainless" have been mentioned on this forum as being prone to scratching very quickly and being unsightly, and likely a very-quickly-passing fad. Just wanted to mention that.
