master bathroom layout design

We recently built a home 3 yrs ago and we did not invest to much in the master bathroom due to finances. Now we are ready to upgrade and add a soaking tub but not sure it will fit. Bathroom is 8 wide and 9.6 long. We have a 72” double vanity as you walk in on left and the toilet following. On the right we have a 4 foot empty space which is behind the door followed by a 5 foot shower enclosure. The window is at back wall and when you walk in you see it straight ahead. Our problem is want to replace the shower enclosure with the tub and add a smaller shower not sure if it will fit unless we do a wet room idea on that side of bathroom. Another idea would be to take the walk in closet that abuts the bathroom on the vanity and toilet side and add that square footage to make a larger master bathroom. More costly but would be 14x9 size. Very torn. Also have an finished above garage space only accessed by the master that could be used for an added walk in closet. Need guidance as too which would make more sense.
