How do you handle places where you need a straight edge?

Do you have half hexagons to fill the spaces where you need to make a straight edge, or do you have to cut the tile as is on the mesh? Is it easy to cut, being that it is on a mesh?

    you should cut them on site with the mesh on which is not hard; but need to install them within 20 minutes before the individual tiles fall apart from the mesh.
