We recently got two estimates for smoke remediation. Both were about the same cost (total). ServPro recommended starting with cleaning (walls & flooring) then if we feel the smell is still present, moving on to painting and replacing the carpet. PuroClean’s estimate shows minimal cleaning and starting with painting and replacing the carpet with vinyl flooring.

Does anyone have experience with using either of these two companies and their processes?
