Kishu is great! I badly want to add it to my collection and this is my third favorite mandarin. However, I still think that Gold Nugget is the best mandarin and citrus overall and Tango is the second best mandarin. At the same time, again, Kishu is fantastic and pretty much everyone loves it!

It is a slowly growing variety (based on what people say, I do not own it myself) but it will grow eventually. E.g., FW trees are on C35 and Kishu tree will be around 8-10' in probably 6-8 years. Kishu owners, please correct me if I am wrong.

I have one on flying dragon so I doubt it'll ever get more than 5 feet tall in a pot, thank god. Check your rootstock tag

My kishu from Four Winds is in the ground. I bought it as an entry size (12-24") in 2015 and it is now over 7 feet tall. When they are happy, they can grow very quickly.
