Our new house is under construction and it has just now struck me (as my husband is wiring for lighting) that the dining room feels uncomfortably asymmetrical to me. I would appreciate any advice.

The intention was to build a live edge walnut table from a tree from our farm. This would be centered in the room. We also planned to have lower cabinets flanked by tall built ins along the side with three windows. I thought we would put plants in front of these windows when we weren't hosting and use the lower cabinets as a buffet when we were. There are several things that feel awkward about this: 1. I'm not sure if the table should be centered in the room or centered between the middle and right window. 2. I'm not sure plants would look great with so much space between the windows, therefore I don't really know how to use this space. 3. The windows on the right side of the table are very off set. 4. The bare wall to the left of the table feels vast; I'm not sure how to decorate it. A recessed niche was one thought.
