Need mirrors on cupboards in the garage.. ?

Hi all, we're going to be dancing quite a bit in our garage and need to figure out how we can have some mirrors up to help our postures. The problem is that we have cupboards along the wall that are built in and can't be removed - are mirror vinyl stickers an option? I.e. i can imagine that the reflection may be distorted on them, and not to mention they probably can get scratched easy.. do you agree?? I considered getting mirrors that we can hang on the door but it would leave gaps between mirrors both along the length and the width.. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions you can offer!

check craigslist. often they have those large mirrors for FREE that people take out of bathrooms. I think I found one on there once that was 6x3. I used it on a wall for my workout area. (although I glued it to the wall).

maybe there's a way you could frame it, put it on castors and roll it out for dancing? too weird? then maybe you could get that mirror, take it to the glass shop, and have it cut to fit the door on each cabinet. attach w/mirror adhesive.

or, get those cheap, long rectangle mirrors from home depot (they're super thin) and attaching them to your cab doors. (remove your handles ). they may not fit perfectly like the custom-cut mirror would.

basically like this on all four.

or, remove the doors off of those and do something like this

(this is basically the look I mean when I say to cover each door w/a mirror. if you get the right size, the joints shouldn't be a problem)

for super cheap, just get the mirror squares and attach those to each door. I think if you get them close enough, you'd have what you need.

Please provide photos of the space. Doesn’t your garage have three walls? Perhaps the wall opposite the built ins can be utilized for mirrors? BTW....I think it is fabulous that you are dancing in your garage! Best use of the space...ever!

Barcelona Designs,,,why would she need modern furniture in a garage when she's asking how to hang a mirror so they can dance? Do you even bother to read or just post your spam?

Sorry, should have thought to include pics (Houzz novice, please bear with me!).. Here we go.. I'm utilizing only half of the garage (the gray carpeted area) for dancing to make it easier on the feet and also cos that's the only available area for now, the rest has some training machines and a stone floor. For now, utilizing a different 'wall' or area is not possible so trying to work with the cupboards..Thanks so much guys!

What kind of dancing? Ballroom dancer here and I will say that I would tackle flooring before I worried about any mirrors. I would never want to practice dancing on carpet. Very hard to move well and very bad for your knees and hips. You could do much better checking your posture with video from a smart phone or go pro camera without using any mirrors on the wall (very old school stuff). It will give you a better view that you can review later and you won't be distracted by trying to watch yourself as you are dancing.

Thanks Jamie! This is actually for a form of traditional indian dance - this floor serves my purpose decently for now.. Long run, ii'd like to get some epoxy on the floor and it'll be perfect :)
