Are you able to get your hands on another knocker? If so, I think the symmetry of two would look best. I would center on the bottom portion of the door.

First of all, your doors are great. Unfortunately the knocker does not fit in the spot a knocker typically would be installed. If you really want a knocker, purchase one that will fit your door, in the space it's intended to be installed in. I think a knocker installed at the lower height would look a bit off.
On the side note, I find screen doors a bit utilitarian and wouldn't want one that covered your beautiful front doors.

I would keep the doors without knockers, just relying on the doorbell instead. If there is a side or back door that could take a knocker perhaps you could use it there, just to make the giver of the housewarming gift happy (and explain to them why it didn't fit on the front).

I agree with above...no screen doors. It would take away from your gorgeous entry.

I did find the knocker online, so I could get a second one if needed. I like the look of the doors as is, but also would like to use the gift. Unfortunately the doors on the back of the home are sliding glass doors, so I can't use it there.

As far as the screen door, it would be nice to be able to open them up to get the breeze, but I do not want anything to block the view of the door. I have seen the retractable screens that roll up into a small frame that I was considering, but I still am not happy with the look. That's why I was hoping maybe someone out there knew of a good solution.

Its a beautiful door knocker not to use though.

We have retractable screen doors at our house and they do work really nicely for this scenario. (I don't know what brand so I can't comment directly on Phantom just the concept in general.)

The door knocker is beautiful. I would hang it elsewhere for decoration. Two knockers would actually be "over kill" on the door. As for the screen door, I would not cover those doors with anything. Open your windows with screens for fresh air and enjoy those beautiful front doors.

It is a Minwax gel stain, Mahogany with satin spar varnish.

As far as the door knocker- I would not put it up on the door but I would put it in a small shadow box and hang in the front entry as art ;)

As far as the phantom screen, I am guessing the side rails blend in with your trim, what about the rail at the bottom on the threshold, is it large that you consciously have to step over it? How long have you had them and do the screens operate easily/smoothly?

Yes, the side rails blend in with your trim. They have a variety of colors. The rail at the bottom is slim and sits just below the threshold so no real step up. I have had mine about 4 years now. They are very easy to operate. They are so unnoticeable, my dog and cat have bounced off them, setting the screen to release and have scared them a few times , but now they know and don't bother them anymore.
