Lost internet ,tv, and phone Tuesday night thru Friday afternoon due to the main card frezzing in the Vrad down the block , talked to the worker that was fixing the problem.
In short it was very cold for several night and days it was minus around - 25 with and day time
temp folllowing those several night made it to -14 yes minus .


January brings cold here usually and another birthday. ; )
One day a warmer climate hopefully will be a reality that the Mrs and i can enjoy.


Hardy Chicago inground was cut down low near ground level as in past seasons and covered with 30g pot and of course snow.
Will see if it comes out alive thinking it will but as in few seasons back with similar temps i think it ripened 1 or 2 figs at seasons end.
It would have done better if i choose to give it better protection like Grandmother and Uncles did back in the 1960s who they used to bury 1 single trunk tree she lived several blocks from Midway Airport. That tree would always produce a good crop of figs and was kept near 8ft .
