Hello, I had started a post- fertilizing baby plantlets a few months ago. I thought of posting an update. I did receive lots of great suggestions. This my old post:

These are how my plantlets looked in Dec. They were in 1040 trays with capillary matting /wicks and under large humidity domes, on shoplight stands.

These are what my plantlets now look like after almost 2 months. Some of them have buds too. I did get rid of a few plantlets, which were soggy or too small.

I added 20-20-20 fertilizer to the mats (1/4tsp per ½ gallon of water) almost every 2 weeks. At the moment reduced fertilizing to once a month, just give plain water. I also changed the capillary mat, the old one was dirty and moldy.

I did purchase a digital temperature/humidity measurement gauge. The average humidity inside the domes was 57%. The min /max humidity was 52/86% (which was quite a range). Usually just after I water the mats, the humidity does increase, but then comes down again to the 50’s range.

The average temp inside domes was 72F and min/max was 62/75F. I have not taken the plants out of the domes yet, as the outside humidity is 30% and temp around 50F. So will still keep them under domes.

I have yet to measure the light, have not downloaded the app yet. I did add an LED shoplight to one of my shelves which need new bulbs, decided to try the LED shoplight, instead of buying bulbs. Lets see how that turns out.
