Have you fertilized recently? Are they getting enough water? Perhaps the Roses just dropping the older leaves. Do you live in an area where your roses go dormant?

roses don’t go dormant here, we don’t even get frosts.

Ihave fertiilised a few weeks ago, and gave some potash. It could be a watering thing, it hasn’t rained much but I have been giving a good water every week.

Hasn't it been in the 100F-115F degree range this past month in Australia? That would explain a lot. If it's just lower older leaves I wouldn't worry about it. Do the best you can watering out of the hot sun and wait for fall when it should cool down.

Yes maybe that's it. Funny how it's just some leaves though, and there's no wilting. Maybe I fed it too much.

Unfortunately they are predicting a very warm autumn ... roll on winter! (I'm sure that wish will go down well with people in USA & UK at the moment!)

That's old aged leaves and heat. Nothing to worry about. Just keep up good care. More watering may help some, but it's mostly heat affecting older leaves. I get that later in summer here. You've done nothing wrong.

Have you had any flooding. I've heard Queensland is having big flooding. Hope all is well with you and yours.
