Assuming you are speaking of the carnivorous nepenthese pitcher plant... they take tropical conditions.... a certain media.... non-tap water.... a long time to get to a decent size (especially from seed)... and... they won’t be that good at catching frogs to any extent. Insects are their primary diet.

Now besides that... that are a great plant to grow if you do a lot of research. !!
