You have enough blue. I would use a multicolor.

If you have a HomeGoods (or the like) nearby, you can probably find affordable bedding there. Target is another option. As others have shown, navy, charcoal, gold, black and grey would all look great with your blue walls. You can also consider red (though many find it too energizing for a bedroom), orange, yellow and purple. I'd consider something with a pattern and would stay away from white. Yes, it can be bleached but how often will you need to do it? Bleach is tough on the fibres.

Nice to buy somewhere where returns are easy because sometimes what looks great online or in the store looks awful in our room.

Fair point, Jan. Depending on size of their space, budget, etc. Polyester bedding can indeed feel less than comfortable.

Whenever someone says they can't spend a few hundred bucks on decent sheets, quilt/duvet , a pleasing bed, however one defines comfort, warmth etc?

I ask them to walk their spaces. ............and think about the often/ usual pure junk that has sucked the dollars to far less important crap!!! Junk on the walls, doo dads of uselessness, you name it Yet not a decent sheet or towel for that matter.

And it drives me insane. This is one third your life. Treat it as such. Your dog? The floor or his own bed, no matter how much you love one another. Or his own "bankie" on your bed. At least!

I appreciate resources, even a lack, but we don't always need to FIRST source the junk on planet earth. Pottery Barn, at REASONABLE pricing, has a nice variety of looks, with natural fibers. You needn't succumb to garbage in a plastic zippy : ) case.

I wouldn't spend much in the event that disaster strikes again. Look at the above. There is one at a similar price on Amazon. FYI dark brown goes beautifully with blue as do tans, sand colors, etc.

I'd suggest eBay. There are lots of brand new, still in packaging or new with tag options at reasonable prices. Here are a few examples.
