Why blue? What is your bedding ? When do you use the space ? Pictures of the space and your bedding. I personally find blues difficult towork with unless very dark.

I looked at those two colors and I think the gray in both will help them look sophisticated. Either one should work well, but I am not sure how to emphasize and enhance the color you choose. Dark bedding in the same color family and lamps on mirrored/silvered nightstands might work well to pull out the silver, especially in the Silver Mist color, would probably work very well.

I don't think going dark on the walls (with a white ceiling and baseboards) is bad. In fact, it could be quite attractive. I find dark colors--have you considered navy?--with white to feel crisp and clean. So I don't think you'd find it too dark, especially if you have a goodly amount of white.

Check out Farrow and Ball Parma Gray, it looks blue on the wall.

A blue bedroom needs a lot of natural light, a lot of refreshing white and furniture and bedding and rug will matter more with this color on the wall than with almost any other. Post your room.

I find soft blues are better with a paper on the walls.
