need advice on modernizing entertainment unit

Hello,
I need some ideas and advice on modernizing our entertainment unit. Want something that will incorporate an electric fireplace and our tv. We want to hide the other electrical components as much as possible.
We have cream style cabinets in our kitchen that the family room connects to.

7 years agolast modified: 7 years agoAre you willing to dismantel your cabinet? I suggest removing the top of the cabinet and the sides along the upper half. I would then attach the top to the bottom sides. I would paint all the tiles black.
