Curious to know if anyone has seen this before in a home. We bought our house a little over a year ago. Have been fixing up various things and rooms. Have worked my way to the entryway located by the side door of the house. We have a small house, this is the main entryway we use. We don't have much room for storage, especially shoes. I am just curious if anyone has seen this before in a house. There's a little rectangular cutout that looks like it should be for shoes, but I don't know who's feet are small enough to fit in this area. So looking to see if anyone has seen this before, and also wondering if I could make it deeper to actually be used for shoes. What is everyone's thought on that? Thank you.
