Gerbera from seeds

last modified: 7 years ago

I know this thread has already been done. But if I follow an old tread, people always criticize me.

I am trying to grow seeds from my gerberas, but they always end up producing non viable seeds. Just wimpy slim and empty seeds. Have search the whole internet and no one has discussed this.

how do I make real viable seeds from gerveras. The flowers also do not seem to have any visible pollen. Why are these plants so bad at creating pollen, therefore real seeds!

And why would a plant spend energy creating empty seeds. Usually flowers fall if they don’t get pollinated.
