Centering Dining Table Lamps

Hi, need your advice. I just bought a house and I feel that the dining table lamp is off center.
The lamp is centered across the length of the back wall, but there is a passage from the kitchen (orange lines).
I tried centering the table to the lamp but it is just in the way
Is it better to center the lamp to the actual dining area?
