Love the string lights!

I know this is so basic but I bought 100 feet of similar string lights for our elevated deck that has no roof or nearby trees to attached lights to. I can use the house wall but want to extend out but just can't find a decent looking pole. Home Deport suggested nailing a 2x4 to top of deck railing but would like something more finished. Any ideas? (I'm new!)

    I think you could use rebar or a decorative stake, similiar to a shephards hook from Lowes or Home Depot attached to railing.
