paint finish for home interior walls

Hi there,
I’m painting the interiors of a small bungalow that I intend to sell. I usually use BM egg shell for walls (satin for trim) but this time I’m using SW paint. For trim I’ve used SW alabaster opulence pearl and for the walls I was planning on using eg-shel satin (also Alabaster) but a painting professional who uses SW told me SW eg-shel is too shiny and has an out-dated look and he’s using flat enamel/Matte now for walls. My concern is the finish will look too flat and dull, especially on grey days.
What SW finish would you chose?
Thank you!
Kate
