My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What color flooring for my kitchen?

I am coming near the end of a do-it-mostly myself kitchen remodel. I am thinking about adding wood/bamboo blinds yet and some type of wood/wood look flooring. I have a floor picked out but cannot make up my mind. (I will attach some before and after pics. The final pic is the floor sample I have in mind. Carolina pine. Weathered, old house look.)

    Wow, you did a fantastic job--what a difference!

    I too like the wood floor--it grounds the room. Adding natural woven shades would give a nice textural contrast to the white cabinets and counter tops.
