Could I half tint this?

I guess so…I’m not one to fool around with a specific color unless I am painting a slope ceiling. No harm in trying.

Or, look at B.M. White Wisp. It is lighter than gray owl.

Paper White is another option if you really want white.

Gray Owl can have some serious undertones, as do a lot of grays. The best thing to do is select a few options & paint them around your space. See how they look in different light.
