Four old fellows are getting cleaned, new hickory bottoms and a fresh finish so they can be used in the vacation rental cabin I manage. I've cleaned with Murphy's Oil Soap and will lightly sand them. I want to protect, seal and bring out a warmer color in the open wood. Any suggestions on specific products to achieve this would be appreciated. These 70+ y.o. chairs were rescued from an old cabin before it was bulldozed! Photos will follow if Houzz ever loads them for me; I've tried twice without success.
