I have my computer equipment on the two small nesting tables in the corner by my desk....they are of sight and work very well. Easy to clean around also. The top larger of the tables, I have in another room with a plant on it. Another idea would be to get an end table and take the back off and just have the solid front showing.

If the problem is still current why don't you buy a wireless router? In my opinion, it is easier to use and doesn't have a lot of cables which spoil the design.
