Carrera marble look alike

I need help! I want the closest match to Carrera marble that I can get. I have two little little pieces of silestone lagoon but I can’t get a good idea from that and is it really $81 a square foot! That’s what the guy at Home Depot wrote on the back of the sample. And the little samples look like it might be spotty not marbly. I’m concerned that I can’t see the piece I’m ordering.
Any suggestions?

I wanted a marble look too. Tried all the quartz's that are made probably. They all looked fake to me so went with quartzite and I am so happy with the results.

I love marble too in the end I settled for Opal Marquette quartz- love love love it

here are some names. you can look up each one individually and get an idea of how they look installed

Super White (it's a dolomite,,marbles cousin. this is my slab)

The best way to view any stone is to go to the stone yard and see the entire slab. You can't tell much of anything from a 3" square sample, except a vague idea of color and pattern. My daughter has Silestone "Lagoon" in her kitchen and it is lovely--very subtle and serene. BUT these products are man-made and can vary in color and pattern, just as a printed fabric can vary with dye lots.

Do your research online, narrow your choices to 2 or 3, and find a yard that has slabs to view. When you see something you like, put a deposit on it and make sure it is marked with your name in indelible marker. And make sure that YOUR slab is delivered to your fabricator. Seeing is believing, and only you know for sure what you want.

We got mystery gold. here is a side table we had made with the extra. I use the quartz samples as coasters;)

@trishagannon, do you have pictures you can post of your Opal Marquette? I am really agonizing over making a stone selection for our kitchen renovation. I love the look of marble (have marble in my bathrooms but will not put in my kitchen) so am trying to find a quartz that resembles marble the closet, and I am super picky. We have been to MSI and thought we liked Carrara Grigio which does a nice job of resembling marble except there is no veining, and the background is not quite as white as I would like.

I just discovered Polarstone so visited a fabricator and was able to see large samples. I went to see Olympia and also saw Opal Marquette while there which I really liked. There is a Polarstone distribution center where I can go to see full slabs. Would love to see pictures of your Opal Marquette is you are able to post.
