Hello, we are looking to convert our 16 acres from water wheel to drip irrigation. Field is 1100ft east to west, 660 north to south. We have 21 3 inch risers from the well spread across the east side. I am wanting to keep as many risers capped as possible, so I only have to deal with a couple manifolds. Our rows will run E to W, around 900ft long. I will lay the sub main above ground N to S on the east side a few feet from the risers. I'm not sure what size tubing would be best for sub main. I'm also not sure if I should step down before or after the manifold (pressure regulator, filter, backflow), I would assume after so I can keep my flow as high as possible in the sub main, but I'm not sure. Any other help would be great too. Thanks.
