Hello - these particular counters are from Ikea. This particular project was done on a tight budget so these are not solid butcher block counters but have a wood veneer overlay. They do take some care and oiling occasionally but they are also priced very well. I believe Ikea also sells a solid wood version and many of the counter manufacturers also sell solid butcher block counters which are a little less fussy.
