I am in the process of updating the trim paint in my 1930s era Tudor home and am not sure what to do with these ceiling beams in my living room. The walls and ceiling surfaces are newly painted in Yarn (Magnolia Home color). Best to make the beams the same white as the other trim in the room, or go with a dark and contrasting color?
