Queen, without a doubt. Twin and full are too short.

Wish I had gotten a queen instead of a full. I'm 5'6 and the full is short!

Queen size. When one is old, turning over in bed is difficult but ROLLING over in bed is possible.

Queen size. I've had King sized beds in hotel rooms, but it's just a waste of space and I'd rather use it for something else. Queen is the better option.....twins are too narrow and twin and double beds are both too short for sleeping on my back comfortably.

Queen. For a long, long time I had kings and California kings. When I switched to a queen a few years ago it too me more than two months to sleep soundly. I was so fearful that I would take a tumble off the sides and in doing so take the nightstand and lamp down with me, breaking at least one bone in the process.

Thankfully, that has passed. But probably the best thing about downsizing the bed choice is that sheets and bedding are easier to buy. It still takes a lot of looking to get a bedspread that goes to the floor, even looking at king-sized ones. But at least I have a chance of finding one.

Depending upon the size of the person’s bedroom, the minimum acceptable size for me (and the minimum I offer to my guests) would be an extra-long twin and the maximum size would be a California King.
Length matters more than width. And the mattress should be firm or extra firm.

Queen, if I were sleeping alone. Definitely a king for two.

I sleep on a twin and have been very comfortable. The twin is also easy to make.

So many factors! Size of the room, how tall the person sleeping in the bed is, how much they toss and turn, how much space in the room they need.

I prefer a queen however I am only 5 feet tall and am living in a small apartment so I am down to a full!
