Some good ideas on this site. blues

I wanted to go navy in my master but was afraid it would be too dark. the color I chose was valspar "folk" it is a nice color. I would think it would work with cornflower fine. but for my room I wish I had gone darker. we have since added crown molding. And I want to raise the curtains

The best color for a pop would be orange.

CDR Design is right, the complementary colour to blue is orange and since cornflower blue is a muted blue, you might want to consider coral, a muted orange. Red, violet and gold are all warm colours (with some orange in them) that could work, especially if you use the same value of colour. I'd use the complementary colour for pillows and accessories and keep the majority of the room blue and off-white, as suggested by Olychick. You can have some fun playing around with colour palette ideas using paint chips.
