We just put in ADM wide plank smoked white oak in “Sea Smoke.” It’s absolutely gorgeous and high-quality and the price was fantastic.

Be sure to order samples from ADM because their photos are very innacurate. Even in these photos it looks a darker and more variegated than it does IRL. Our installer was really impressed by it (and he puts in 2 hardwood floors a week - mainly in much nicer homes than ours).

This is what I'm finding too. The 6 samples I ordered are so different from online pics. I realize there will be some difference, but they are vastly different.

I think sea smoke is my favorite but yes, it is hard to see if it is light or a medium color, in some pictures look very light, in some look like a medium tone. Can you give us some review of the your floor after 2 years? thank you. I have only one sample, ordering more now.

Have ADM sea smoke now! Beautiful, it has more knots than in the online pictures, I hope it stays beautiful for long.
