Wall color for kitchen?

I"m stuck. Cabinets are Sherwin Williams Still Water and I'm looking at Caesarstone Cloudburst Concrete for the counters. The floors are a medium gray commercial vinyl that looks like concrete. There's not a lot of wall but the accessible beige now on the dining room walls reads too taupe. I don't want to go really gray as I'd like to keep somewhat of a uniformity--at least I like the wall colors to talk to each other as you move from room to room. I'm thinking about shoji white or perhaps the aesthetic white that's in the hall and living rooms. Thoughts? I need to act fast as I have to get painting before the cabinets arrive April 1! Thanks for any ideas.

Thanks but I'm not sure these photos will be that helpful. Right now, the kitchen is an empty space, walls primed and floor down. The beam you see will be clad with white wood.

I'll attach a photo of the cabinet door and counter, for what they're worth.

You need more color. A pale yellow, green, or lilac would work. with your choices. The yellow or warm green would be especially warming to a pretty chilly palette. The Daybreak is almost the color of your primed drywall you show in your picture with the door propped up.

Love your cabinet color and counter. I agree with suggestions fro Live_wire_oak above.

Looked at Sherwin Williams site and the coordinating colors are Top Sail which is pale. Oyster (the one I like which is in line with what was said) and Taupe Tone which I don't think will work with the flooring. Consider using the Visualizer tool they have.

Thanks. I'm shying away from yellow as it's not my favorite color (probably because I don't look good in it). Since the kitchen is now open to the dining room, I want/need to paint them the same. I think I'll try the oyster white--it looks like it might be a good choice. Thanks--stay tuned!

Well, I got a sample of topsail which I thought would be great---but once I put some on the wall it basically reads white. There is tons of light in the room so I guess I need something with more depth or saturation or something. I'm going back to oyster as a choice though I may also try a color in the topsail range but a wee bit darker. Thanks for all the help

Thanks for your comments, Brown Dog, but it can't be too early. The walls are primed, the floor is down and we are waiting on the cabinets. I need to paint before they come. The rooms (kitchen and dining) have a ton of light. The adjacent front halls are aesthetic white but that's too taupey to work here. I don't usually have this much trouble but this one's tough. I'm grateful for any and all suggestions!

I would paint the DR the blue of the cabinets. I also like the Daybreak suggestion. I’ve used it before. It’s not as strong as the chip makes it appear.

Capital White BM is nice or Owl Gray BM.

How are you liking your Cloudburst countertops? Any issues? Thanks!
