Building New Master Closet for my wife. Her dream closet has a nice big island in it. so i am trying to revolve a lot of the design around that.

I have it down to 2 choices. one with more walking space, but less hanging space in the closet and no small closet outside the main closet for me. so we would have to find out some alternative stoarge for off season clothes or whatever.

the other is tighter inside the closet, but has more closet usage and an extra closet outside the room for me.

is 29" walking space good enough or is the 36" walking space ten times better and worth the sacrifice of closet usage?
