Hi! I’m excited I found this form to help me out with my new Calamondin tree! I purchased the plant right around the Chinese new year, so about a month and a half ago. I live in south eastern British Columbia, Canada, zone 5A. A few weeks after purchasing the tree, I noticed some new growth. Now that the leaves are getting a bit bigger, they are showing some confusing signs. Some of them are curled downwards at the tip, and others are curled upwards on the edges. There are very conflicting opinions online about what different types of leaf curl mean. Am I overreacting? Are the new leaves just more susceptible to environmental conditions? I have the plant in a southwestern facing window. This is quite a dry area, so I humidify the room but only am able to achieve between 35 and 45% humidity generally. It has been sunny recently so the plant receives quite a lot of afternoon sun. I am fairly certain I don’t have any pests.

I have tried unsuccessfully with citrus in the past, and I’m really wanting this one to survive! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
