Help with Bath/Laundry Layout

Need helping figuring out the best layout for this bathroom. Here is the current set up. I am going to remove the tub and add a side by side washer/dryer. Any thoughts on the most efficient layout. We are gutting the entire thing so starting from scratch in this space. Needs to include a sink/vanity, toilet, shower & washer/dryer. Thank you!

Part of the problem is that they are a full size w/d. It is hard to fit a shower and w/d on the back wall, unless they are stacked. You also have to get the machines through the door way with the sink near the doorway and then turn them depending on where they are going. If you put the washer and dryer where the tub is, they will be 41 inches deep and your shower if it is 60 inches long will not have a good entry.

If you want to use what you have, I would take over the closet in the next room and add it to the bathroom. This layout would give the laundry area some privacy.

Are your existing doorways wide enough to move in a washer dryer? You have a lot of turns getting into your laundry room.

Check with appliance movers.

Are there other locations for laundry? perhaps upstairs.

This layout would save some of the closet.

Is this a master bath for the bedroom to the right? Can bath/bedroom doors move?

What size are the washing machines you will be using. Are you using compact machines that require a 30 inch deep space?

This is not a master bath...it might have been in the 40s but right now it's the downstairs/guest bath. The house was added onto in the 90s and all the bedrooms we use (3) are upstairs. The room next to the bathroom is a guest room/play room right now.

The doors cannot move unfortunately. And the washer dryer dimensions are 27(w) 34(d) 38.75(h) each. I could get new ones if necessary but ideally would like to use these.

Is this your main laundry or a secondary? Are the W/D units you have top load or front loaders?

They are samsung front loaders that could stack. Right now they are in the garage side by side. I would like to keep them and move inside but if there is no way to keep them side by side, I would be willing to purchase another set. I would like to use this area as the main laundry. Side by side minimum clearance is 57" across and about 41" deep.

Thank you! That second layout might work but good point on getting the washer and dryer through that doorway! Ugh...didn't think about that. I might have to go with a smaller stackable. There is no room upstairs unfortunately.
