Any ideas out there in HOUZZ land?

A navy drape would be lovely in your space! Pulling any of the darker colors of your quilt would work really well but navy is a timeless color and would be a great contrast against your neutrals.

You can use these hangers, order them on line, they make it sooo easy and, for me, I would use creamy white. HANGERS

dark drapes won't soften the room, they will create hard lines. linens will soften.

I would use one large sea grass roller blind to go over both windows behind bed and linen or sheers for the curtain panels.

So panels are the way to go and short? Mmm, I guess it makes sense but there is another window in the room and panels wouldn't work there. Also, I like elegant and sea grass is not for me, but the idea is still good.

Well, I just purchased the wood blinds so I keeping them. I thought drapes were more dressy than curtains.

the room isn't large enough to have "drapes" is it is curtains will be bulky that is why I suggested linen or even shears. think about how stuffy the corner with the armchair, end table would be with dark drapes, the chair would be pushing on them.

I agree. I can move the chair as it may be too crowded even before any window treatments. I would probably pass on curtains. I will have to look for reference. I suppose sheers could look really nice if done correctly.

Maybe I don't understand what a curtain actually is compared to a drape. I guess they are a lighter materials. Yes, curtains and probably in linen. Should they be to the floor?

What curtain color? Suggestions? Shall they match the wall or bed? Thank you.
