Agree with everyone, of course ... it's adorable! I also agree that learning crochet or knitting is easier than it was years and years ago because there are so many online tutorials now where you can follow along stitch for stitch, rewinding and repeating as many times as necessary to get it right.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I wholeheartedly agree about using you tube videos to learn...there are many so if one isn't helpful, another one will be. And videos are infinitely patient.

In fact, I wanted to add little hearts to the booties so I found the instructions on youtube.

That is not your run of the mill baby outfit! Wow! Very unique and artistic in a high-end sort of way. You are going to get raves. Lucky baby!

I’m thinking that when the baby outgrows it it’s worth framing for art, sort of like those framed kimono’s behind glass..

Sigh-I do wish I could knit now that I have a granddaughter!

Never too late to learn cyn...crochet is faster and easier...you might want to start there.

Beautiful work. I love that sort of yarn. I know how to knit multiple colors but you get that thickness from carrying the colors behind. The space dyed does it for you. Lovely choice of colors.

I was taught to knit by my best friend back in the eighth grade and she told me purling was just knitting backwards, With that hint I figured out how to purl but my stitches would be backwards so I would knit into the back to fix them. I did this for years. I envy people learning with YT. They have it all so easy.

Fantastic work! I've always wanted to be able to knit and perhaps make sweaters, as I love sweaters, but rarely get a chance to wear them. I guess I could knit bathing suits, if only I knew how to knit!
