I don't think you could choose a more classic dining room. What color would you like for the upholstery? What kind of lighting do you have in mind? I would seriously consider a branch lighting fixture, like Lindsey Adleman's, to balance out the super classic French country vibe.

Once you have sorted out the lighting, choose your upholstery. A small pattern would probably be nice. What color works in your room now? What color are your curtains? Can you coordinate with those or are you starting totally afresh?

I love the table and the chairs, but they don't seem to match. They are making competing statements, chairs are curvy, table is angles, angles angles. Either one alone would be good. But difficult to tell without seeing how they relate to the whole room.
