I use powder Ariel. Haven't used the liquid.

The powder version is good detergent, cleans well, but makes a lot of suds. I have a toploader so I can use it. Wouldn't work in a front loader, IMO. Also, the fragrance of the powder is pretty loud. Too loud. If it didn't clean well and wasn't so reasonably priced, I wouldn't buy it. I use it mostly for washing dog bedding and jeans.

If that’s a front load Neptune you’re going to have a major sudsing problem with any Ariel product

Ariel is just Tide. Its the name Tide is marketed under in european and some other markets.

This is the Puerto Rico version. super sudsy.

This is just Regular Tide under a different label. It probably smells comparable to a Cheer or Era Detergent, but it's the formula of Regular Tide Original. The real Ariel Liquid has a different cap and bottle design. This is the Ariel USA, or Ariel Classico with new printing.

Even without the HE Turbo logo, it does contain suds suppressors, and should do a good job cleaning. I wouldn't use more than line 1 on the cap.
