Why don't you show us the entire bath layout with dimensions that incorporates the monolithic tub?

Jan, I only have paper versions of the plans but the dimensions are not really negotiable at this point. The tub is 60x30 and will fit into a space that is 68x 63 in front of a large picture window. The bathroom is not really large - about 75 sq ft. We had a large built in jacuzzi tub and a small 36' neo angle shower. Now we're going with a freestanding and a 42x42 ' square shower - that's as big as we can go. The tub is not claw footed but is on a pedestal: https://www.thetubconnection.com/de60-ped.html.

Thanks, Trisha - that's a good point. My husband and I were saying that we have a lot of heavy furniture and if the whole family stands on one spot we're 500# so...

I did my whole kitchen and living room. It was installed as floating to flex not under cabinets. just make sure you buy high quality LVP not the ones at Home Depot or Lowes. Mine has a cork back and is super soft on feet. You can't even tell it is vinyl- not one person has thought it was

Thanks! They sell Armstrong at Lowe's/HD - are you saying you got a higher quality Armstrong than available there? I used the LifeProof from HD in a small bath and really liked it but this is for the master so I'm willing to get something better if needed! I just don't want tile... our last tile floor was cold and cracked and I don't want grout.

From what I understand the quality of the LVP at the box stores are lower overall even under same manufacturer.

did you install the freestanding tub on vinyl? Any special preparations to subfloor or the floor itself? Any water leakage issues? Our contractor didn't blink when we picked tub and LVP flooring but the plumber is scratching his head and now I am concerned.
