Our Americast kitchen sink's finish has deteriorated to the point of the white being worn away in a large area to the steel below that is rusting. We are looking at all sorts of ways to deal with this but cost is a huge factor. Our granite installer says that the granite cannot be resized due to the seam being 3" from the edge of the sink opening. No undermount or topmount sinks fit our cutout so we are looking at refinishing the current terrible sink. Does anyone have experience with products and companies that do this for a kitchen sink? How long should we expect a coating to last under normal household use? Any advice or recommendations appreciated. Thank you
