    Very contemporary. I like it.

I prefer the original, and would simply have extended the original shed roof at the front porch.

The new look is stark and cheap looking. All character of the original is gone, to be replaced by a child’s drawing.

Can we see an after pic without all of the filters applied? I think it might be more appealing.

I like the before much better than the after. It had “character”. All it needed was some good landscaping.

Honestly, I liked the original better, too. It had such charm. The new looks more cookie cutter.

    The yard looks better now.

But seriously, I prefer the older house proper to the new reno.

Talk about out of balance... looks like the left half of the front gable has no support and is ready to fall over. Plus the porch posts are in the wrong place, the boxed eaves on the front gable are at different heights, and they couldn’t even get the two new gable vents to be symmetrical on the front gable. And why two vents? Why not one triangular vent at the top? Then there are two big porch posts holding up a thin sliver of a beam.

No! I like the before better!
