Hardwood or Carpet for upstairs?

I have a great room, master bedroom and office upstairs. We are remodeling. Should we do carpet or hardwood?!

    We just ripped out ALL of the carpet upstairs! This is my upstairs hall! We did the loft, hall and all bedrooms! So happy we did!
