Hi Susana, Congrats on replacing the carpet with the beautiful wood flooring!

    This looks fantastic!

I like all of it except the chaise. Unless there is a tv I cant see it seems to face the wall away from everyone else. Kind of looks like the naughty corner, lol.

The trio of pictures on the wall really picks up the wood tones from the floor. Cool!

I'm bothered by the chaise, also. What if you were to angle it slightly out of the corner, putting the table on the other side?

Wow. Love the changes. Great flooring. Absolutely beautiful!

I love the floor, paint color, art, drapes and furniture. The only thing I don't like is the furniture placement. How about using the coffee table in front of the sofa and moving the chaise (angled) into the corner where the coffee table currently is. Then, reviewing the room and seeing the best placement for the white chairs, probably not right up against a wall.

I also might place the 6 pictures where the chaise currently is on one wall as a grouping of 6 using some vertical direction also.

unfortunately is not enough room to do that, literally I would have a chaise in the middle of that room ! thanks anyway for your input !

I see the thread is a before and after, so maybe my suggestions for changes are just annoying. The permanent changes you made (floor, etc.) really are great!

I'm with a lot of other ppl, room is awesome floors TO DIE FOR...chaise...awkward. Could you possibly switch the chaise and the couch? it's just weird to have it face the wall.

I like that chaise placement much better! I also like the way the chaise color is repeated in the wall art just beyond the stairs and near the couch. You have a lovely home.

That's much better--you could even turn it a littler further toward the wall if you wanted to. I don't think it would completely block the doorway.

I really like the flooring, very rich looking. I would like to point out few things that will make the room look better. The two yellow chair next to each other might look better if there is a space or a table between them. The way they are displayed now makes the room feel like a doctor's office or a waiting area. Also, the people using the two chairs will not be able to have a conversation easily. Just my opinion!
