You might be able to find it under its original name Pink Double Dandy. When Don Smith sold Monrovia the rights to sell his plants most of the existing ones were renamed.

Southern Peony blogger did an interview with Don Smith several years ago and he stated that Scrumdiddlyumptious was his favorite of his introduced varieties. I started looking for it right after that, took a few years to find a nice sized one. Now they're available from several online and mail sources but they're going to be really small, tissue cultured plants. Nothing wrong with TC in my opinion, I've not had any issues with them, but it'll be a while before they bloom. Keiko is normally available at big nurseries early spring but at a pretty high price. Didn't see it listed on any of the big bareroot sellers this year.

Well if Don Smith thought so highly of Scrum, then I am glad I got it even though I paid a fortune for it. I do have at least 1 bud forming and will try to post when it blooms.

The blooms will evolve in both color and form as the plant ages. It only gets better.

Really unique colors, so beautiful.

Hope the blooms last longer too. These were ugly in 3 days. My Pink Hawaiian Coral blooms were upright and beautiful for over a week.

Most itohs will definitely last longer than herbaceous peonies. But bad weather, rain and wind, can effect the flowers.
