I have this floor plan and I’m not happy with the 10x14 standard rug seen. I want it to extend to the right to cover an area where kids toys are/play area. So I am thinking of extending to 16 feet so it comes to front of toy storage chest (not actually doing the small table on right). My question is for the depth, I don’t like how it comes up to door labeled B(for bedroom hallway) because no wood will show like on other sides. should I take 9 inches off so it’s 3/4 under couch? Or should I move it so it’s completely under TV stand and under four breakfast bar seats seen to left of TV stand.
