Good luck! New construction for us and I'm in the process of window "school"....it's tough. I have read great things about OKNA and Marvin Integrity. I also have a quote on Pella but have placed it at the bottom of the stack. Actually one manufacturer that I wanted to look at was Weather Shield. Is this one of the rottens?

The rotten windows are both Peachtrees. Unfortunately the bay window was the poorly installed one which costs more to replace. Good luck on the window school - I am right there with you. I would say that most homes in our neighborhood will have aluminum clad or wood looking windows. I care more about the quality of the window than how it looks since I usually have the blinds down anyways. I like the idea of the pella built in blinds and the idea of less maintenance with the other two options. We aren’t thinking of moving but I have to consider resale if I get vinyl so I’m a little nervous about the Okna for that reason.

its hard to beat the quality of Okna. If anything, Okna will enhance the resale value. There will be nothing cheap looking about the Okna exterior. The aluminum clad windows have been known to rot as water sometimes gets under the aluminum and eventually affects the wood. I think pella had a big problem with this.
